The Vision and Change in Undergraduate Biology Education: A Call to Action final report represents a blueprint for change in undergraduate biology education developed by leaders in the biological sciences as part of a project funded by the National Science Foundation. Major themes include an outline of overarching and unifying key concepts and competencies; classroom practices that focus on student-centered learning; and strategies for change.
